i’m blessed enough to say that i’ve found a genuine group of people who i can call my forever friends. some i’ve known for less than a year, others i’ve known since high school, and others still i’ve known since i was in diapers.
tonight i received a puzzling message that ended up being exactly what i needed. my best friends who i don’t get to see very often since we’ve all moved away ended up talking about me. “we were talking about when you guys hung out and then i was talking about when we hung out and we’re both just so proud of you and so impressed and enamored at the things you’re doing/want to do”
without even knowing the mood i was in, my forever friends knew just what to say to make all the worrying/hurt/stress go away. and this is why they’re forever and for keeps.
